Welcome! I am a clinical psychologist and psychotherapist specializing in providing psychotherapy services for adults. Currently, I have a private practice in Levent, Istanbul. I offer consultation and therapy to expatriates residing in Istanbul, as well as online sessions tailored to English speakers worldwide. .

My academic background includesI received a B.A. in psychology from Middle East Technical University and an M.A. from University of New Haven in the United States. I furthered my education with a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Middle East Technical University. My professional journey led me to train and work at the Trauma Center at JRI in Boston, Massachusetts, under the guidance of Bessel van der Kolk, MD, a globally renowned figure in the field. Additionally, I participated in the LEND program of Childrens` Hospital in Boston as a fellow for one year.

Over the years, I have received consistent clinical supervision from Dr. Marla Zucker, the Trauma Center Director of Clinical Services. Beyond my private practice, I engage in lecturing at universities and providing training and supervision to colleagues and organizations. I also extend my expertise through training and individual consultation to international humanitarian organizations.

My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from various psychotherapy methodologies such as psychodynamic, parts approach, and EMDR, tailored to address the specific needs and challenges presented by clients.

Common issues I address in therapy include depression, anxiety, phobias, stress, interpersonal problems (whether at work or in personal relationships), eating disorders, dissociation, adverse life experiences, trauma, grief. .
